ACCOLADES Peace Country Regional Science Fair Woodmere Nursery is proud to sponsor the annual Peace Country Regional Science Fair. We too, like Fairview College, NAIT and now Grande Prairie Regional College are committed to stimulating the young scientific mind and generate interest in the scientific process. Community Garden A fully irrigated graden plot was established for Residents of the Garrison Manor Seniors Residence in 2004. They did not have access to sufficient gardening space at the Manor. In a pilot project sponsored by the Fairview Agricultural Society the Garden was expanded and opened up to residents of Fairview to increase access to gardening. Artists in School All the proceeds from the Fairview Night of Artists goes towards running the Artists in School Program at the Fairview Fine Arts Centre. Every grade 4, 5, and 6 student in Fairview is exposed to formal training in the arts.
